I’m breaking down the latest and greatest offered at the Chicago Auto Show this year. Consider this (Part One) your handy cheat sheet to Toyota’s incredible display.
Continue reading about the RAV4, Sequoia TRD Sport, and the Tundra TRD Sport.
The RAV4 Adventure is the boldest model of the RAV4 lineup, meant for the active lifestyle-inspired, gritty, fearless traveler. So what makes the RAV4 Adventure stand out? Look no further than the Adventure’s 18-inch five-spoke black alloy wheels, black headlight bezels and black fog lamp surround, roof racks and Adventure badging. And my personal favorite is the optional Cold Weather Package which includes the convenient wiper de-icer (because we’ve all been in a situation when we could use that).
The RAV4 Adventure comes in five colors including the newest for RAV4 models, Ruby Flare Pearl.
Sequoia TRD Sport
The Sequoia TRD Sport is a powerful addition to the Sequoia model lineup. Road handling is enhanced with TRD Sport Tuned Bilstein Shocks and TRD front and rear anti-sway bars. The Sequoia TRD Sport will include a new front grille and bumper grill insert, metallic black mirror caps, 20-inch alloy black sports wheels, black satin finish TRD Sport badging on the front doors and a metallic black and chrome Sequoia badge on the liftgate.
The Sequoia TRD Sport will include Super White, Magnetic Gray Metallic, and the new Midnight Black Metallic. Inside the spacious cabin, the Sequoia TRD Sport will boast TRD Sport-specific accents like the shift knob, floor mats, and sill protectors.
Tundra TRD Sport
The new Tundra TRD Sport is available in 4×4 and 4×2 grades in CrewMax and Double Cab configurations and powered by the proven 381-horsepower 5.7-liter i-Force V8 engine. Like the Sequoia TRD Sport, the Tundra will include the TRD Sport Tuned Bilstein Shocks and TRD front and rear anti-sway bars. Further, the exterior’s display features 20-inch alloy silver sport wheels, LED headlights with smoked chrome bezel, and TRD Sport graphics. Safety will be enhanced on all Tundra models with the addition of Toyota Safety Sense™ (TSS-P) as standard equipment.
Expect to see these new models on Oak Lawn Toyota’s showroom floor in September!
